The Tide is a solid stainless steel bracelet for Seiko SKX007 and SKX009 style dive watches. It comes in three link patterns, each finished with curved end links:
The curved end links follow the round case between the lugs, so the bracelet meets the watch without a gap. The spring bars come fitted in the end links. At the other end, a fold-over clasp closes under a flip lock, and a row of micro-adjust holes along its side lets you fine-tune the length.
Every style is pictured with a small sizing kit: a link pin tool, a mini screwdriver and spare pins. That covers fitting the bracelet and taking out links at home. If you are weighing a bracelet against a strap, our guide to choosing a watch strap lays out the differences, and the watch bracelets page compares link styles side by side.
Start with your lug width: the inside gap between the lugs, in millimeters. The SKX007 and SKX009 both use 22 mm. Our fit guide shows how to measure any watch with a ruler or calipers.
Each style comes in its own set of widths:
So for an SKX007 or SKX009, pick the jubilee or the president in 22 mm. The oyster is only made in the wider 23 and 24 mm sizes.
The curve of the end links is shaped for SKX007 and SKX009 style cases. On other watches with a matching lug width, it sits best when the case has a similar rounded shape between the lugs. A flatter or more angular case can leave a small gap at the sides, so compare the shape of your case with the photos before you order.
Fit the bracelet to the watch before you size it. Push one end of the spring bar into a lug hole, press the other end in with the pin tool or a thin blade, line it up with the opposite hole and let it click into place. Give the bracelet a gentle tug on both sides to check it is seated.
Then close it around your wrist and count the spare links. Remove the same number from each side of the clasp so the clasp stays centered under your wrist. Use the tool from the kit for the links, working over a soft cloth so pins do not roll away, and keep the removed links in case you want one back later. The micro-adjust holes on the clasp take care of the last small step: moving the spring bar one hole is often enough to go from snug to comfortable.
Stainless steel copes well with sweat, rain and the sea. After salt water or a chlorinated pool, rinse the bracelet under fresh water and dry it with a soft cloth. The jubilee and president patterns have more gaps between links, so give them a soft toothbrush and a drop of mild soap every few weeks to clear out grime. Brushed surfaces gather fine marks with wear; on steel, that is normal and part of how it ages.
Delivery is $6.95, or free on orders over $49. The delivery time for your country shows on each product page and at checkout.
You can return an unworn band in its original packaging within 30 days of delivery. Return shipping is paid by you, unless the item arrived faulty or incorrect. Keep any links you take out with the packaging until you are happy with the fit. The full terms are on our delivery and returns page.
Both watches use 22 mm lugs, so order 22 mm. In that width you can choose the jubilee or the president style. The oyster style is only made in 23 and 24 mm, so it does not suit these two watches.
Yes. The spring bars come fitted in the end links, and every style is pictured with a small kit: a link pin tool, a mini screwdriver and spare pins. That is all you need to fit the bracelet and take out links.
Remove the same number of links on each side of the clasp so it stays centered, using the tool from the kit. Then fine-tune with the micro-adjust holes on the clasp. Our fit guide shows how to measure your wrist first.
It can, if your lug width matches and the case has a similar rounded shape between the lugs. Curved end links are cut for one case style, so on a flatter or more angular case they may leave a small gap at the sides.
The steel itself is fine in water. Rinse it in fresh water after salt water or a pool and dry it, so grime does not build up between the links. How deep you can take it depends on the water rating of your watch.
