The Atelier is a leather band for Apple Watch with a decorative metal piece at both ends of the case. The pieces sit right where the band meets the watch, so they frame the screen top and bottom and stay in place instead of swinging like a charm. The rest is a plain strap: leather with stitched edges, a row of holes and a pin buckle with a keeper.
The hardware changes with the color, and the photo of each color shows what you get:
On a silver or light watch case, the silver-tone colors match the metal best. The rose gold tone on Pink sits well next to a gold or rose gold case. Black is the easiest one to wear every day; White and Ivory look lighter and a little dressier.
Want a band without the extras? Browse all of our Apple Watch bands, or see our leather watch straps for watches with regular lugs.
Apple Watch bands are sized by the case, not by the wrist. Your case size is engraved on the back of the case, and the Watch app on your iPhone lists it under My Watch, General, About. Match it to one of the four options:
S10+ is short for Series 10 and later. A 42 mm watch can need either of two options, depending on its age: a Series 1 to 3 takes 44/45/49, while a Series 10 or later takes 42 (S10+). If you are not sure which one you own, check the back of the case before you order.
All five colors come in all four case sizes. Our fit guide has more help with measuring and sizing.
Fitting takes a minute and needs no tools. Turn the watch over, hold down the band release button and slide the old band out to the side. Slide each half of The Atelier into its slot until it clicks, with the buckle half at the top of the watch and the half with the holes at the bottom. Give each half a gentle tug to check that it is locked in.
Wear it snug enough that the watch stays on top of your wrist, with room to slide a finger under the strap.
Leather and water don't mix. Keep the band dry, take it off before a shower, a swim or a sweaty workout, and never leave it to soak. If it gets wet, pat it dry and let it air dry at room temperature, away from a heater or direct sun. For everyday care, wipe the leather with a soft, dry cloth. Keep perfume, lotion and hand sanitizer off the hardware and the stones, and give the metal a wipe with a dry cloth now and then. The rhinestones are set into the bows, so don't scrub them; a soft, dry brush lifts dust from around the stones, and it pays to keep them from knocking against desks and door frames. When you are not wearing it, store the band flat or loosely curled.
Each order is one band, in the color and case size you choose.
Delivery is $6.95, or free on orders over $49. The delivery time for your country shows on each product page and at checkout.
You can return an unworn band in its original packaging within 30 days of delivery. Return shipping is paid by you, unless the item arrived faulty or incorrect. The details are on our delivery and returns page.
Look at the back of your watch, where the case size is engraved, or open the Watch app on your iPhone and go to My Watch, General, About. Then pick the matching option. For a 42 mm watch the Series matters: Series 1 to 3 takes 44/45/49, Series 10 and later takes 42 (S10+).
No. Black and White have a silver-tone bow with small rhinestones, Pink has the same bow in a rose gold tone, Ivory has a plain polished bow, and Taupe has a silver-tone star at each end. The photo of each color shows its hardware.
Better not. Water and sweat are hard on leather, so take the band off first and keep it out of long soaks. If it does get wet, let it air dry at room temperature, away from direct heat.
No. Hold the band release button on the back of your watch, slide the old band out, then slide each half of The Atelier in until it clicks. The buckle half goes at the top.
