The Swatch Silicone Strap is a replacement watch band made from silicone. It has a smooth, flexible feel that suits daily wear, and it wipes clean in seconds. The band ends in a pin buckle, so you fasten it the same way as most standard straps. Spring bars come with the band, which means you can fit it as soon as it arrives.
This is a practical pick for anyone who wants to change the look of a Swatch watch or refresh a band that has seen better days. It also fits other watches with the same lug width, so it works across more than one case in a collection.
Pick the size that matches your watch lug width. The band comes in four widths.
| Size | Fits |
|---|---|
| 16 mm | Swatch watches and other watches with 16 mm lugs |
| 17 mm | Swatch watches and other watches with 17 mm lugs |
| 19 mm | Swatch watches and other watches with 19 mm lugs |
| 20 mm | Swatch watches and other watches with 20 mm lugs |
Band length is 8.3 in (21 cm). That covers a wide range of wrists for most adults. If you are between sizes, measure the distance between the lugs on your watch case, not the width of the old band, since old bands can stretch or compress over time.
There are eleven colors to choose from: blue, clear, red, pink, gray, orange, black, yellow, dark blue, brown and white. Clear and white keep things light and clean. Black, gray and brown stay understated. Blue, red, pink, orange, yellow and dark blue add a brighter note, which suits sporty cases and casual outfits.
Because the band is sold on its own, you can buy more than one color and swap them as your mood or the season changes. The pin buckle hardware stays with the band, so each color is ready to wear.
Start by removing the old band. Use a spring bar tool to compress the spring bar and release it from the lugs. If you do not have a tool, a small flat tool can work, but take care not to scratch the case.
Slide the new spring bar through the band end, then compress it and seat it in the lug holes on one side. Repeat on the other side. Give the band a gentle tug to confirm both spring bars are secure. Thread the free end through the pin buckle, set your fit, and close the pin in the hole that feels right.
If the band feels too short, check that you ordered the correct lug width before assuming the length is the issue.
Wipe the band with a soft, damp cloth and mild soap, then dry it with a clean cloth. Keep it away from water for long periods, and take it off before swimming, showering or washing dishes. Silicone handles sweat and daily grime well, but standing water and harsh cleaners can shorten its life. Store the band flat or loosely coiled when it is not on the watch, and keep it out of direct sun for long stretches.
It is made for Swatch watches and other watches with matching lug width. Check your case and choose 16 mm, 17 mm, 19 mm or 20 mm to match.
The band measures 8.3 in (21 cm). That fits most adult wrists.
Yes. Spring bars come with the band, so you can fit it without ordering extra hardware.
It is best to keep the band away from water. Wipe it clean with a damp cloth instead, and take it off before swimming or showering.
