The Wrap is a nylon band with a fabric pocket that covers your WHOOP sensor, so from the outside it looks like a plain strap. It has a silver-tone metal slider and closes with a hook-and-loop tab, which means you set the fit anywhere along the band instead of in fixed holes.
It comes in two fits. Wrist is the everyday length for your wrist. Bicep is the longer version that goes around your upper arm. There are five colors: Black, Gray, Navy, Green and Black/Gray. Gray, Navy, Green and Black/Gray come in both fits; Black comes in the wrist fit only.
Covering the sensor keeps it out of sight and gives the band a clean, plain look, at a desk or in the gym. If you'd rather see the sensor, The Interval holds a WHOOP 5.0 in a black metal frame. For framed, stretch and silicone options, see all our WHOOP bands.
The Wrap holds a WHOOP 5.0 or a WHOOP MG sensor. The sensor is not included: you move it over from the band you wear now. Both sensors fit the same pocket, so one version covers either.
If you wear an MG, know this before you order: MG's ECG and Heart Screener readings need WHOOP's own MG clasp hardware, and this band doesn't have it. The sensor fits, but you won't get ECG or Heart Screener readings while you wear The Wrap.
It doesn't fit WHOOP 4.0. The 4.0 sensor is larger, and WHOOP made the sliders for 5.0 and MG smaller to match the newer sensors, so bands don't swap between generations.
Pick Wrist if you'll wear it like any other band. Pick Bicep if you want the sensor on your upper arm, above the elbow. People reach for a bicep band when something on the wrist gets in the way: lifting with wrist wraps, boxing gloves, or a watch you'd rather keep on that wrist.
Putting it on:
Snug but not tight is the goal. The sensor should stay put when you move, and a finger shouldn't slide under the band easily. Because the tab closes anywhere along the band, you can loosen it a touch between sets without taking it off.
On the wrist, wear it about a finger's width above the wrist bone. On the upper arm, set the band where the arm is fairly flat so the sensor sits level, and check that it doesn't slide toward the elbow when you move.
Each fit is its own band. If you want to switch between wrist and bicep, order one of each and move the sensor across when you change.
Take the sensor out first. Press the hook-and-loop tab closed onto itself before you wash the band, so the hooks can't snag the nylon. Hand wash in lukewarm water with a little mild soap, rinse well, press out the water with a towel and let the band air dry away from direct heat. Skip the dryer.
Lint and hair build up in the hook side over time. Brush them out with a clean, dry toothbrush so the tab keeps holding firmly. After salt water or a chlorinated pool, rinse the band in fresh water the same day and wipe the metal slider dry. Let the band dry fully before the sensor goes back in the pocket.
Delivery is $6.95, or free on orders over $49. The delivery time for your country shows on each product page and at checkout.
You can return an unworn band in its original packaging within 30 days of delivery. Return shipping is paid by you, unless the item arrived faulty or incorrect. The full terms are on our delivery and returns page.
No. An MG sensor fits in The Wrap, but MG's ECG and Heart Screener readings need WHOOP's own MG clasp hardware, which this band doesn't have. You won't get ECG or Heart Screener readings while you wear it.
Wrist is a regular band for everyday wear. Bicep is the longer cut that goes around your upper arm, above the elbow, for times a wrist band gets in the way, like lifting with wrist wraps or wearing gloves. Black comes in the wrist fit only.
No. The 4.0 sensor is larger than the 5.0 and MG, and WHOOP made the newer sliders smaller to match, so bands don't swap between generations. The Wrap is made for 5.0 and MG sensors.
No. You get the band only. Your WHOOP 5.0 or MG sensor moves over from the band you wear now.
Take the sensor out and press the hook-and-loop tab closed so it can't snag the nylon. Hand wash in lukewarm water with a little mild soap, rinse well and let it air dry away from direct heat.
