The Precision Driver Kit is a collection of small screwdrivers made for fine work. The tips are stainless steel, sized for the tiny screws found on watch bracelets, spring bars, glasses frames and jewelry. The tips are hard and hold their shape, so they grip small screw heads without slipping.
This is a bench tool, not a household screwdriver. It fits the scale of watch links and spring bars, where a fraction of a millimeter matters.
Tips are measured across the flat of the blade. The full range runs from 0.6 mm to 2.0 mm.
| Tip size | Common use |
|---|---|
| 0.6 mm | Very small link screws, delicate jewelry |
| 0.8 mm | Small link screws, glasses hinges |
| 1.0 mm | Watch case backs, link screws |
| 1.2 mm | Link screws, spring bar work |
| 1.4 mm | Bracelet screws, glasses frames |
| 1.6 mm | Larger link screws, clasps |
| 1.8 mm | Bracelet and clasp screws |
| 2.0 mm | Largest link screws in the range |

If you work on one watch and a few pairs of glasses, the 5-piece set covers the common jobs. If you keep a bench for bracelets, spring bars and mixed jewelry, the 13-piece set gives you more to reach for.
Match the tip to the screw. A tip that fills the slot turns cleanly. A tip that is too small can chew the screw head.
For spring bars, use the driver to compress the bar at the lug, or to reach a screw that holds the bar in place. For glasses, use the smallest tip that fits the hinge screw. For jewelry, work over a tray so a loose screw does not drop.
Wipe each driver clean after use. Keep the set away from water. Store it dry, in a drawer, a tool roll or a watch box compartment. A dry cloth is enough for everyday cleaning. Do not oil the tips.
Stainless steel resists rust, but standing water and damp storage can still mark the tips over time. A quick wipe before the set goes back in its place keeps it ready for the next job.
The tips run from 0.6 mm to 2.0 mm: 0.6, 0.8, 1.0, 1.2, 1.4, 1.6, 1.8 and 2.0 mm. The 5-piece set covers the most used sizes, and the 13-piece set covers the full range.
Yes. The drivers fit the small screws used on watch bracelets and spring bars. Pick the tip that fills the screw slot, press straight down and turn slowly.
